Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is critical to the success of the Saint Luke School mission—to provide a superior Catholic education to its students. The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is the formal vehicle for this involvement. The PTO serves as an advisory board to the pastor, coordinates the volunteer program, and runs several school fund-raisers throughout the year. Perhaps most importantly, Saint Luke’s PTO encourages and enhances communication between parents and school administration. Room parents act as a liaison to each class every year to ensure that parents have a dedicated PTO member to whom they can go with ideas and concerns. Our belief in the importance of parental involvement in school life is so strong that each family must agree to meet a minimum number of participation hours as part of the enrollment agreement.
