Special Liturgies |
| All-School Mass |
Twice monthly children join with their Big Brothers and Big Sisters to attend a special school Mass. Students are responsible for readings and special intentions and act as altar servers. All join in singing. |

Baby Shower Mass |
The children sponsor a special Mass to benefit "A Women's Choice" and Hope of Northern Virginia by collecting baby items presented at the Offertory. |
| All Saints' Day |
Our third graders study their patron saints and create performances (oral book reports with costumes, puppet shows, etc.) sometimes with their Big Brothers and Big Sisters. |
| Advent Wreath Ceremony |
Each Monday in Advent, we gather in the gym prior to class, for a community wreath ceremony. |
| Children's Liturgy |
St. Luke Church's 9:00 AM Sunday mass and 5:30 PM on Saturday is devoted to families with special children's liturgy for children between the ages of 4 and 13. |
| Confirmation |
The Sacrament of Confirmation is bestowed upon Catholics in the eighth grade. |

First Communion |
The Sacrament of First Communion is received by Catholic children in the second grade. Celebrated with the parish usually at the end of April, the school children also celebrate with the school the Friday following their first Communion. |
| First Reconciliation |
The Sacrament of First Reconciliation is experienced by Catholic children in the second grade. |
| Gift Mass |
Students bring gifts to donate to homeless children during the Christmas season. |
| Graduation |
Eighth grade graduation is celebrated with a Mass followed by a reception for families and friends near the end of the school year. |
| Lent |
Each class attends Mass once a week. Stations of the Cross are observed and the children participate in Operation Rice Bowl. |
| May Crowning and Living Rosary |
In May, the entire student body gathers with their parents for a picnic lunch followed by a living rosary and a crowning of the Mary statue at the Church entrance. |
| Right-to-Life Mass |
On the anniversary of Roe V. Wade, the school prays together at this Mass. Children attend the Right-to-Life March with the permission of, and accompanied by, their parents. |
| Seder Meal |
On Holy Thursday, the entire school partakes of a Seder Meal commemoration of Jesus' Passover celebration at the Last Supper. |
| Thanksgiving Family Mass |
Held on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. All Family and friends are invited to enjoy a school Mass and special program. |
