Greetings!
Saint Luke Catholic School is a co-educational kindergarten through grade eight academic institution. Located within the beautiful landscape of McLean, Virginia, Saint Luke enjoys a forty-nine year tradition of providing academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment. As a ministry of Saint Luke Parish and the Diocese of Arlington, our mission and purpose is to spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ and in doing so, strive to develop the whole child: spiritually, academically, physically and emotionally.
Our students meet the high standards we set for them, scoring well above National and Diocesan Terra Nova averages, achieving prominence in contests and competitions and placing into the top Catholic and private high schools in northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. They take advantage of the many extra-curricular opportunities offered them and excel whether in music halls, courts or playing fields. Our outreach programs provide food, clothing, toys, and resources to the neediest members of our society. We don’t just, “talk the talk”, we live it!
The faculty is made up of well-educated and dedicated men and women. Their varied and rich experiences, content expertise and commitment to student performance are exemplary. It is a team of which I am very proud.
In order to achieve success in the aforementioned areas, the relationship between school and home must be a partnership. I am happy to say that the spirit with which this partnership operates is what makes Saint Luke so special. We do possess a “Spirit of Community” evidenced in our classrooms, halls and events. More importantly, it is Christ’s presence that makes it possible.
